GSM Locator 2

Little program that shows you where you are using only mobile phone. No GPS. Mobile phone connected via BT (nokia 6280). Error is about 2km in my city. Edit: It’s a video. So it won’t show YOUR location. It shows my location at the moment of running this app. And it WON’T locate any cell out there. It’s about using YOUR phone as “GPS Device”.

EU3C GPS / GSM Tracker device @ Computex 2010

Vern from EU3C presents their GPS tracker device which can be used for all kinds of tracking options to bring you piece of mind with regards to safety of those you love. The GSM mobile phone and GPS combo unit keeps track of its position. Simply call the device from your mobile, and the unit will reply with a text message giving the exact location at that point in time. It can be used in many ways, for example if your kid’s borrow your car, do they really go where they say they will? Call the device and see for yourself. Keeping track of your pets, or keep track of your vehicles. The small and concealable device has also been used gain valuable information about one’s partners location.(although that’s not its purpose ). The device also has an emergency button that can broadcast to a specified number with the location that the person is in trouble.

Easiest GPS Fleet Tracking Installation by geomoto

This is a video for a friend of mine with his fleet tracking startup business www.geomoto.com. They provide a GPS tracking service for small to medium size fleets with a very easy install. As part of the service geomoto provides web-based GPS tracking software coupled with Google Maps with access to satellite view to see exactly where your vehicles are. The GPS device installation is the simplest I’ve seen with not antennas or special mounting required. It uses the OBD port of the vehicle to power the device.
