Do I need to buy a GPS locator and Receiver if I buy Microsoft Streets and Trips 2007 with GPS Locator [DVD]?

I wish to buy Microsoft street and Trips 2006/2007 with GPS locator package and do I need to buy seperately the GPS reciever and the locator too or any other accessories because some websites don’ t make a mention of the items in the packet.

Microsoft navigation software really sucks, compared to Garmin or TomTom. Is there a way to download navigation software that will work with the usb gps receiver that came with MS Streets & Trips.
