How would you put a GPS tracking device on your child and hide it from them?

With all the things thats going around on the news my wife and I are thinking of getting A GPS tracking device for our child she’s 7 years old and we are afraid of her getting kidnapped or going missing

We want to make it so it’s not noticeable to the abductor if she ever does get kidnapped and we don’t want her to know about it because she might take if off when she hits her teenage phase cause she doesn’t want her parents knowing where she is

So how would you go about doing this.

Wondering if there is a gps tracking system on my car?

…or if my parents can track me by the gps already installed in my car?….how could i tell if there is a tracking system installed?

How to disable Gps tracking (verizon) without turning off my mobile service?

I want to disable the gps. I believe I am being tracked by my parents. I noticed by turning off the Mobile Network(Verizon) it disabled it. The down side on this is I don’t receive phone calls or texts. How can I turn off the gps and still receive phone calls and texts? There has to be some sort system fail and hack out there to change this.

HELP FAST! I lost my phone and NEED a gps tracker type thing to find it?

if i dont find my phone by tonight my parents are cancelling it!!!! okay so i lost it a week ago, its dead now. i looked everywhere and cant find it. i heard about gps tracking to locate a phone but need one i dont have to download on the phone since i already lost it, and if it would work even though my phone is dead? i have the lg xenon. Would you be willing to place a GPS locator on your child?

When it came down to it, which would be more important; your child’s safety or their privacy?
Curvy… while I might not agree with all of your statement, I do agree that some parents will try to use it as a method of supervision rather than one of emergency… i.e. letting them run all over hell’s half acre without keeping an eye on them and using the excuse "Well, they’re being tracked anyway." Good point.

are there personal GPS devices that are not obviously GPS devices?

i’m thinking about traveling on my own around the world a bit but my parents are uneasy because i’m a girl and they wouldn’t know where i would be or where i would go next. i thought i could give them peace of mind by carrying with me a GPS tracker so that they could see where i was. but if i get one that is obviously a GPS tracker then if i get kidnapped then it will get taken away from me before it could do any good. I was thinking there might be a necklace or something like that that woud do the job but i can’t seem to find any.
