Would you be willing to accept a computer chip into your body?
Say in the distant future chips in bodies started becoming more and more common- kind of like a techno buzz but more than that-like an ipod or a laptop.
It has all your personal identification and you can use it to buy items at stores with a single swish of your hand. You don’t have to carry a wallet, paper money, or cards anymore. You can use it to get into your house and car, instead of using a lock. It can also be like your computer and contain important files- taxes, banking, everything.
And also it has a gps tracker, so that thieves,sex offenders, terrorists, dictators (you name it) could be monitored by the government. You as a parent can be comfortable, knowing that the safety of your child is improved- you can track down his/her location at all times.
Plus, when you get the chip, it doesn’t hurt a single bit- hurts less than a flu shot and has no negative effects on your body! It is so small that it is hard to notice and is embedded under your skin..
Does anyone have any objections? I hear some people already have such a device implanted in them in other countries. This may well soon be a reality.

i’d be glad to take the CHIP within my body if i was guaranteed better treatment at the airports and stop being harassed by guards to take my shoes off, body searched etc.
before 9/11 bombings, flying on airplanes was fun to travel but now adays its a pain in the behind all thanks to some radicals who ruined life for a billion people trying to travel the unfriendly sky

Only issue I’d have with it is the GPS part, otherwise fine by me. Actually, it wouldn’t need to be a chip, just a RFID would do the trick.

Other than the fact it would be an invasion of privacy…and against federal law…the likelihood of some one you WOULDN"T want knowing you personal data…SSI, bank account’s, PIN # etc…etc. could easily "hack" you any time, any were…and you would be helping them with your "built in" GPS…No.I don’t want that!…Too many "ex-wives" would LOVE to have that on their Ex’s! and wives..that would know your at Clancy’s bar…when you should be home, or help track you down at madam Le Fever’s Cat house. Yes Sir that would be just wonderful. OH ya…how bout the IRS just "deducting" your taxes by shaking your hand! why don’t you just carry a big sign that says "I’m a target" or something easy for the crooks to know your coming…oh ya…that’s right…you would have a GPS beacon…they could see you coming from miles away!
